Located in the Blue Ridge/Piedmont Escarpment (area of significant environmental interest). The Montane Mafic Cliff (first picture below), is unique as it is home to rare plants, lizards, rock formations, etc.. The National Nature Conservancy ranks this land in its “highest interest” category.
forest management program
Since the property was acquired in 2007 by the Logan family, there has been a selective timber management cycle to improve the health of native & timbered forests over a revolving 10 year period. The existing timber value is approximately $1,100,000.
